Martin Highlander Aluminum Dump Body – DRW 84″ C/A

Choosing the right dump beds for dump trucks is important when your business regularly handles loose materials. The Martin Highlander Aluminum Dump Body is designed for commercial hauling work, offering a practical body style for contractors, landscaping crews, and property maintenance businesses.

This listing describes a 96″ × 144″ Highlander configuration intended for dual-rear-wheel cab-and-chassis trucks with an 84-inch cab-to-axle measurement.

Martin Highlander Dump Beds for Dump Trucks

The Highlander is part of Martin Truck Bodies’ aluminum dump body lineup.

Unlike a standard pickup bed, a dedicated dump body is designed to make unloading loose materials more convenient. This can be particularly useful when transporting mulch, soil, gravel, and jobsite debris.

Martin’s Highlander series features 48-inch-tall sides and a barn-door-style tailgate with holdbacks.

For buyers comparing dump beds for dump trucks, these features make the Highlander worth considering for businesses that handle bulk materials throughout the working week.

Aluminum Construction for Commercial Hauling

The Highlander uses aluminum construction, including a 6061 extruded floor.

Martin specifies a quarter-inch-thick floor supported by crossmembers spaced eight inches on center. This construction is intended to provide strength for the demands of medium-duty hauling.

Aluminum also offers corrosion resistance, an important consideration for work trucks exposed to outdoor conditions.

When reviewing dump beds for dump trucks, body construction matters because the truck may be used regularly in demanding environments.

A Practical Design for Landscaping and Maintenance

Landscaping businesses often need to move mulch, soil, and other materials between suppliers and job locations.

Property maintenance crews may transport yard debris or materials collected during outdoor projects. General contractors may need a dedicated dump body for suitable loose cargo.

The Martin Highlander is designed for these kinds of commercial applications.

Among dump beds for dump trucks, a body with tall sides and a barn-door tailgate can be useful when the work involves frequent loading and unloading.

Actual carrying capacity depends on the completed vehicle, chassis ratings, and installed equipment.

Choosing the Right Dump Body Configuration

Buyers researching dump beds for dump trucks should also consider the intended load, mounting requirements, and the truck’s rated capacities.

A qualified commercial truck body installer can help assess these details before installation.
